This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Manage and grow the designated territory for Dairy Tech products and services.
• Discover new clients while meeting annual sales, revenue, and gross profit targets.
• Assist clients in enhancing production and profitability within dairy operations.
• Utilize expertise in the animal health sector to boost market share through proprietary technologies and offerings.
• Execute targeted prospecting calls, primarily engaging dairy producer customers.
• Aid regional distribution channels in crafting and implementing sales growth strategies and tactics, including Perfect Udder Colostrum Management and other initiatives.
• Recognize customer business needs and proactively suggest products and solutions.
• Provide customer support, address inquiries from internal and external partners, and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor customer satisfaction trends to expand the territory.
• Ensure contract pricing and terms comply with standard procedures and customer profitability profiles.
• Deliver tracking reports on marketing and service activities while maintaining accurate client history records.
• Aim to meet and ideally surpass projected sales targets.
• Keep updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, company products, programs, market conditions, and competition.
• Ensure precision in customer orders and territory records; document interactions, sales opportunities, and financial data.
• Adhere to company and department policies while performing other assigned responsibilities.
• Associate's Degree in Animal Science or a related agricultural field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with a focus on Dairy (preferred).
• Demonstrated success in growing and maintaining a customer base of dairy herds (preferred).
• Experience as a Dairy herd manager or in a similar role (preferred).
• Proven capability to cold call, build relationships, and lead in a matrixed team setting (preferred).
• Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP system (preferred).
• Solid understanding of dairy husbandry, current management practices, and nutritional guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of animal nutritional and management recommendations.
• Outstanding customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data effectively.
• Skilled in negotiation and presentation techniques.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• General computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel 50% within the designated territory and beyond as business needs arise.
