VP of Ecosystem Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Circle’s growth and market expansion in Brazil while aiding selected regional initiatives.

• Enhance the adoption of USDC across exchanges, banks, fintechs, payment systems, and institutional applications.

• Ensure that Circle maintains the necessary local regulatory, commercial, and operational framework to scale effectively in Brazil.

• Serve as Circle’s senior accountable leader in Brazil and act as the statutory director of the local entity.

• Represent Circle in external engagements with regulators, banks, enterprises, exchanges, and key market stakeholders.

• Propel the growth of USDC across exchanges, digital-dollar accounts, payments, treasury operations, and institutional financial transactions.

• Develop and convert a local pipeline involving exchanges, banks, fintechs, PSPs, neobanks, payment infrastructure providers, and enterprise clients.

• Strengthen Circle’s position with key partners and channels, including exchanges, banking relationships, and strategic distribution networks.

• Contribute to shaping and guiding Circle’s regulatory and market-entry strategies in Brazil.

• Facilitate cross-functional execution across business, legal, compliance, policy, product, marketing, and operational teams.

• Collaborate with Commercial and Business Development teams to prioritize accounts and expedite execution.

• Monitor performance using data and market insights to refine strategy, enhance execution, and increase USDC market share.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior leader based in Brazil with over 14 years of relevant experience.

• Strong reputation and credibility with regulators, particularly the Central Bank.

• Capability to fulfill fit-and-proper criteria.

• Proven track record of driving growth, revenue, transaction volume, or market share in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure sectors.

• Experience acting as a de facto local leader.

• Strong commercial instincts with a focus on measurable outcomes.

• Cross-functional experience spanning Sales, Business Development, Product, Marketing, Policy, Legal, Compliance, and technical teams.

• In-depth understanding of crypto markets, stablecoins, payments, digital banking, FX, capital markets, or institutional financial flows.

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Extensive network and familiarity with Brazil’s banking, payments, fintech, crypto, and financial ecosystems.

• Familiarity with generative AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini, including prompt development.

• Preferred: Experience as a fintech country-head or in senior leadership roles within banking, FX, capital markets, or financial services.

• Preferred: Background in rapidly growing fintech, blockchain, or payments companies operating in Brazil and Latin America.

• Preferred: Proven success in building or scaling businesses in regulated, fast-evolving markets.

• Preferred: Experience in balancing commercial growth with regulatory, operational, and ecosystem complexities.

• Preferred: Cultural fluency and experience in distributed, cross-border leadership.

• Familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
