VP of Data Strategy – Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Define and spearhead True Rx’s comprehensive enterprise data strategy encompassing architecture, engineering, governance, reporting, analytics, and AI-driven insights.

• Convert company priorities into a data roadmap that underpins operations, client service, compliance, growth, finance, clinical, and executive decision-making.

• Transition the organization from reactive reporting to reliable, self-service information and actionable insights.

• Lead the Data Services and Architecture, Data Analytics/Insights, and Enterprise Data Governance & Quality teams.

• Set priorities, service expectations, documentation standards, operating rhythms, and measurable outcomes for the division.

• Articulate and implement a vision for modern, scalable, secure, discoverable, and actionable data ecosystems.

• Supervise data architecture, data warehouse strategy, integrations, pipelines, technical metadata, and system synchronization.

• Ensure data platforms are scalable, dependable, secure, and aligned with business and compliance requirements.

• Guarantee that backend implementations adhere to approved business logic, governed definitions, and quality standards.

• Establish clear sources of truth and information assets with definitive labels.

• Drive the development of governed self-service dashboards, certified datasets, and decision-support tools.

• Encourage AI-driven insights for trend identification, anomaly detection, narrative summaries, and recommended subsequent actions.

• Collaborate with internal AI teams to integrate AI-driven insights into reporting modules.

• Promote descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive frameworks to enhance growth and patient care.

• Champion the enterprise data governance operating model, ensuring governance authority, adoption, and executive backing.

• Create quality scorecards, governance routines, stewardship expectations, escalation pathways, and DataOps oversight.

• Provide real-time visibility into enterprise data quality through dashboards.

• Collaborate with business, compliance, legal, security, IT, AI, and operational leaders to ensure data accuracy, reporting, access, auditability, and regulatory compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted.

• Extensive experience in leading enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or technology functions.

• Proven experience in developing enterprise data strategies, governance frameworks, reporting platforms, self-service analytics, and data quality initiatives.

• Strong understanding of data architecture, integrations, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions.

• Experience in managing leaders, managers, and cross-functional teams within complex organizations.

• Preferred experience in healthcare, PBM, pharmacy, claims, benefits, or other regulated industries.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise data strategy, governance, analytics, business intelligence, and data quality best practices.

• Ability to convert business objectives and complex requirements into scalable data and technology solutions.

• Capacity to drive organizational change and cultivate a data-driven decision-making culture.

• Familiarity with self-service analytics, AI-enabled insights, modern data platforms, and governance frameworks.

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance business, technical, regulatory, and user needs.
