This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and consistently enhance the health plan sales strategy, which encompasses market segmentation, target-account prioritization, channel approach, value proposition, and an annual execution plan.
• Develop, manage, and oversee the health plan pipeline from identifying prospects to executing contracts; maintain account plans, next steps, risks, and closing strategies.
• Meet or surpass annual bookings, revenue, pipeline coverage, and other performance objectives.
• Direct intricate, consultative enterprise sales processes involving stakeholders from executive, clinical, financial, actuarial, network, quality, procurement, legal, information security, and operational sectors.
• Convert Nox Health's diagnostic, clinical, and care management capabilities into distinctive payer value propositions linked to outcomes, member experience, quality improvement, and overall cost of care.
• Create value-based commercial proposals that include pricing models, measurable outcomes, performance guarantees, risk arrangements, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Clinical Operations, Product, Analytics, Implementation, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams during discovery, solution design, diligence, contracting, and implementation handoff.
• Lead responses to requests for information, proposals, presentations, demonstrations, finalist meetings, due diligence, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with senior health plan leaders and cultivate internal champions within target accounts.
• Keep accurate opportunity, activity, probability, timing, and forecasting data in Salesforce; provide weekly and monthly pipeline reports.
• Represent Nox Health at industry conferences, customer meetings, executive briefings, and other market-engaging events.
• Provide insights on payers, competitors, and market trends to leadership and cross-functional teams to shape positioning, product priorities, partnership strategy, and market entry decisions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in business, healthcare, public health, or a related field is an advantage.
• At least ten years of B2B healthcare sales or business development experience, including significant experience selling to national or regional health plans.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and successfully closing large, complex, multi-year healthcare contracts within the health plan sector.
• Experience in selling care management, population health, digital health, virtual care, clinical services, or a similar platform.
• In-depth understanding of health plan priorities, economics, organizational structures, budgeting cycles, procurement practices, and contracting processes.
• Background in developing and selling value-based arrangements, outcomes-based pricing, performance guarantees, shared-savings models, or other risk-aligned commercial frameworks.
• Capability to lead extended, complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, formal RFPs, clinical and financial diligence, information security review, procurement, and legal negotiations.
• Preferred established relationships with health plan executives and leaders across clinical, population health, quality, innovation, network, finance, and operations functions.
• Aptitude for understanding clinical and analytical concepts and translating them into clear financial and strategic value for executive audiences.
• Strong skills in pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and CRM discipline; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Exceptional executive presence, presentation, negotiation, written communication, and storytelling abilities.
• Highly collaborative, able to align commercial objectives with clinical, operational, customer success, product, analytical, financial, and legal requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to craft business cases and assess commercial trade-offs.
• High integrity and sound judgment when representing clinical outcomes, financial value, implementation commitments, and contractual obligations.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a dynamic, growth-stage environment; proactive, resilient, and action-oriented.
• Strong leadership and influence skills, capable of mobilizing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
