VP, Global Sourcing – Finished Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, assess, and oversee suppliers of finished goods to guarantee quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.

• Formulate RealTruck's procurement and sourcing strategy for finished products.

• Implement top-tier procurement and sourcing processes, procedures, and governance.

• Choose and manage vendors while enhancing internal procurement capabilities.

• Lead global procurement and sourcing initiatives across RealTruck distribution locations.

• Propel finished goods revenue growth and EBITDA improvements, particularly within the Amazon channel.

• Collaborate with teams from procurement, supply chain, product development, industrial engineering, quality assurance, sales, logistics, operations, finance, and engineering.

• Develop global sourcing strategies for Finished Goods and execute tactical plans across the Finished Goods expenditure.

• Promote Lean Manufacturing best practices among key suppliers.

• Foster supplier collaboration to drive innovation, margin enhancement, and cost reduction.

• Assist in new product development, value engineering, design-to-value initiatives, competitive assessments, and product design platforming.

• Address supply challenges and support production and planning by ensuring material availability and delivery.

• Conduct make-versus-buy assessments and lead outsourcing/insourcing initiatives.

• Monitor commodity, raw material, and market trends to guide procurement strategies.

• Benchmark supply costs across various markets.

• Lead should-cost modeling and fact-based negotiation efforts.

• Assess acquisition opportunities and deliver on synergy savings commitments.

• Create supply strategies that mitigate external variations.

• Collaborate with logistics to manage vendors and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Drive the selection and qualification of suppliers.

• Manage vendor relationships, supplier development, supplier productivity, negotiations, vendor scorecards, and supply chain risk.

• Build the procurement team and define centralized and decentralized procurement roles across RealTruck brands.

• Plan, organize, assess, and direct department employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

• Over 15 years of strategic sourcing experience.

• Proficient in spend cube and spend management.

• Experienced in supplier selection, development, and management.

• Expertise in contract negotiations through both traditional and e-auction/reverse auction methods.

• Experience managing both direct and indirect spend.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and reach valid conclusions.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10–20% of the time.

• Capability to work in a professional office environment utilizing standard office equipment.

• Eagerness to lead a global team and manage direct reports.
