VP, Global Head of Commercial Transactions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct Ping Identity’s global commercial legal operations

• Manage a team of skilled attorneys and contract professionals

• Negotiate intricate technology and commercial contracts

• Act as the primary negotiator for SaaS subscriptions, software licenses, professional services, and strategic partnerships

• Establish trust-based relationships with internal and external C-level executives

• Enhance contract processes, templates, and playbooks

• Utilize metrics to expedite the sales cycle and mitigate legal risks

• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Experience, Security, and Legal teams

• Provide commercial legal assistance for alliances, channel and reseller programs, and new market entries

• Mentor and cultivate a global, hybrid team

• Offer guidance on global risk allocation, regulatory considerations, and contracting strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or an equivalent international qualification

• Active legal licensure

• Over 20 years of experience in complex commercial and technology transactions

• Ideally experienced in enterprise software, SaaS, or cybersecurity

• Extensive expertise in cloud/SaaS contracting

• Significant proficiency in data protection

• In-depth knowledge of AI regulatory frameworks

• Demonstrated ability to lead global teams

• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders

• Experience in implementing scalable legal tools and processes
