This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Develop and implement the vertical market strategy and key priorities to leverage company strengths and grow the Data Center Solutions business in North America.
• Serve as a thought leader for the global Data Center business, collaborating with Daikin affiliates worldwide.
• Own and steer the Data Center strategy in alignment with DAA’s overarching Fusion 30 strategy.
• Comprehend the data center market, customer motivations, operational businesses, and positioning strategy.
• Create and promote the Global Data Center Solutions strategy and value proposition.
• Identify growth opportunities through market evaluations, trend analysis, and competitive insights.
• Define and manage the data center product and solutions portfolio, including the roadmap and priorities for new product introduction (NPI) and business model innovation.
• Lead commercialization strategies and key programs for Data Center products and solutions.
• Drive both organic and inorganic innovation and growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions and partnerships.
• Recognize risks and formulate contingency plans.
• Direct the Data Center solution strategy from organizational assessment through to the execution of the data center vision, mission, and strategies.
• Deliver annual operating plans for revenue and operating income.
• Oversee integration efforts for recent data center-related acquisitions.
• Lead and cultivate the Data Center Solutions team, focusing on organizational design, talent acquisition, development, engagement, and retention.
• Mentor leaders, enhance accountability, and foster a performance-driven culture.
• Provide vision and leadership for internal business, product, and process alignment.
• Define and assess KPIs; analyze financial and operational data to guide decision-making.
• Collaborate with finance on business cases, ROI assessments, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Maintain cooperation across the business, acquisitions, the Global Data Center Committee, partnerships, and professional organizations such as ASHRAE.
• Build organizational partnerships and exert influence without formal authority.
• Collaborate with key and national accounts to create selling opportunities.
• Establish a representative network for Data Center offerings.
• Provide the Executive Team with data on the North America Data Center market, competitive landscape, and expansion opportunities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Over 10 years of experience managing vertical markets, including more than 5 years in a leadership role.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Data Center market.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional strategies that result in sales growth and high customer satisfaction scores.
• Experience in the commercial building industry is preferred.
