VP, Clinical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and guide a developing team of healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Medical Doctors (MDs), and Doctors of Osteopathy (DOs).

• Supervise clinicians to guarantee that patient services are provided efficiently within the established plan.

• Drive the clinical productivity of the provider group alongside clinical leadership and operations teams.

• Schedule regular one-on-one meetings with healthcare providers as necessary.

• Create and oversee clinical protocols.

• Collaborate with quality and enablement teams to uphold clinical care standards.

• Offer leadership, decision-making, and guidance in patient care services.

• Recognize process enhancements and operational inefficiencies.

• Work with stakeholders to implement processes and procedures.

• Facilitate internal meetings aimed at identifying and resolving problems.

• Enhance daily telemedicine operations, including the development of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Evaluate performance improvements to support practice growth and development.

• Direct, coordinate, and allocate patient care responsibilities.

• Inspire individuals and encourage collaboration among departments.

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate telemedicine care as needed, based on licensure, for conditions nationwide.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted medical license.

• Current board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.

• Active, unrestricted medical license in 5 to 10 states across the United States.

• At least 3 years of experience managing medical providers in a U.S. health system within the last 5 years, or recent relevant experience.

• Experience in telehealth.

• Leadership experience in telehealth, including the management and coaching of clinicians and familiarity with telehealth best practices.

• Previous experience leading clinical teams; educational and/or strategic planning experience is preferred.

• Prior experience in virtual care.

• Prior experience in developing and managing clinical protocols for virtual care.

• Previous experience in medical weight loss.

• Preferred experience in testosterone replacement therapy, hormone replacement therapy, functional/longevity/peptide medicine, remote patient monitoring, and chronic care management.

• Experience in virtual clinical operations.

• Proficient in Google Suite, virtual communication platforms, and AI technology.

• Ability to swiftly adapt to new technologies, software, and operating systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to pivot in a rapidly evolving startup environment.

• Obesity Medicine board certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Applicants must not possess any inherent conflict of interest, such as owning a business that provides similar services.
