VP, Client Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the commercial executive relationship for one or two major global pharmaceutical clients.

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across manufacturing, laboratories, quality assurance, facilities, procurement, and enterprise operations.

• Act as the primary escalation point and strategic advisor for complex initiatives.

• Lead the executive governance cadence, which includes Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), annual planning, and long-term partnership discussions.

• Own and achieve the account's annual revenue target, including the specified $4MM sales target.

• Foster growth through expansion of services, initiation of new programs, and geographical scaling.

• Identify whitespace opportunities and transform complex prospects into funded projects.

• Maintain discipline in forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM opportunity tracking.

• Develop and implement a multi-year account strategy.

• Lead cross-functional OneSource account teams and coordinate pursuit, resource allocation, and execution.

• Align sales commitments with delivery capacity and margin expectations.

• Translate client feedback and market insights into actionable recommendations for capability development and investment.

• Collaborate with Account Delivery leadership to ensure smooth project launches, risk management, and sustained client confidence.

• Take action when issues arise to safeguard the client relationship and uphold OneSource’s reputation.

• Represent the client internally and act as a senior ambassador for OneSource.

• Mentor senior account leaders and establish best practices in strategic account management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or technical consulting sectors.

• Proven track record of managing a single large enterprise pharmaceutical account with revenue responsibilities.

• Established ability to engage credibly with senior global client executives.

• Strong commercial acumen and expertise in consultative selling.

• In-depth understanding of regulated environments and delivery challenges.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Willingness to travel extensively to support a high-touch client relationship.
