📋 Description

• Generate new business opportunities within designated markets and accounts.

• Promote integrated consulting solutions within DEKRA’s safety enhancement and risk reduction services.

• Identify potential opportunities across DEKRA's portfolio and work collaboratively with fellow sales professionals.

• Acquire knowledge of DEKRA Strategic Consulting services by collaborating with subject-matter experts.

• Cultivate assigned market segments and DEKRA’s distinctive selling propositions for both standalone and integrated solutions.

• Comprehend customer purchasing cycles and formulate suitable new-business strategies.

• Assemble cross-functional sales pursuit teams and work with service subject-matter experts to provide comprehensive solutions to customers.

• Engage with assigned accounts to understand client needs and determine how DEKRA’s North American service divisions can assist them.

• Oversee the preparation of client quotations and proposals in conjunction with subject-matter experts, the proposals team, and company templates.

• Lead negotiations and finalize service contracts with support from Legal and sales/operations management.

• Maintain thorough Salesforce records throughout the sales process.

• Collaborate with Global Sales Service and Global Account Managers when account assignments overlap.

• Enhance market visibility through social media, participation in associations, client-referral networking, and attendance at trade shows/conferences.

• Assist in demand-generation campaigns.

• Foster a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established procedures and policies.

• Report directly to the Global Head of Sales, Consulting & Training.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• At least 8 years of progressive experience in B2B business services sales, ideally including consulting, safety services, and/or management development solutions.

• Strong and authentic client relationship development abilities, with high personal credibility across all organizational levels.

• High level of professionalism along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient consultative sales skills in complex business-to-business service environments.

• Experience in managing a sales assignment and prioritizing tasks and opportunities effectively.

• Strong general business acumen and familiarity with targeted industry segments.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

• Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Sound judgment to recognize situations that require the expertise of others.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Salesforce.

• Ability to learn and comprehend the diverse services, technologies, and capabilities of DEKRA, combining or prioritizing them to address customer needs.

• Willingness to work in various client locations and a general office environment.

• Capability to engage in extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone communication.

• Flexibility to work long and varied hours as required.

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. (such as luggage).

• Domestic travel is necessary, with an estimated frequency of up to 50%.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
