This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with sales teams to enhance business development initiatives with Advisors.
• Strengthen Fidelity's presence in the retirement plan market for Advisors.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with Advisors in Washington, Oregon, and Northern California.
• Provide education to Advisors, firms, and partners regarding Fidelity's services and processes.
• Partner with the Vice President of External Business Development on significant projects.
• Serve Advisor partners in a manner that promotes growth and exceptional experiences for shared clients.
• Establish an Advisor network aimed at expanding and enhancing client service with Fidelity.
• Develop sales strategies centered on Advisors in collaboration with sales teams.
• Involve Advisors in business planning and drive new business through regional sales events, marketing initiatives, and direct advisor interactions.
• Assist sales teams in executing top-tier sales meetings with Advisors.
• Train, engage, and implement best practices with Advisor firms utilizing Fidelity's recordkeeping system.
• Advocate for Advisors both internally and externally to foster market share growth and retention.
• Act as a liaison between Advisors and Fidelity to pinpoint suitable services, resources, and support.
• Contribute to product development and initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
• Proven experience in a business development or sales capacity.
• Understanding of the Advisor value proposition and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated success in managing effective initiatives and projects.
• Strong passion for building relationships and partnerships.
• A curious mindset with a flexible and dynamic approach to operations.
• Skills in project organization, management, and execution.
• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses must be obtained upon acceptance of the role.
• Previous experience and familiarity with the retirement benefits landscape.
• Exceptional listening, communication, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in external communication and relationship management.
• Creative problem-solving skills that leverage analytical and critical thinking.
• Agility and adaptability to manage conflicting demands and shift priorities as necessary.
• Curiosity about people, business, economics, and Fidelity's product solutions.
• Capability to meet regulatory requirements and any potential criminal-history restrictions.
