VMO Specialist II, Vendor Management Office

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the long-term partnership strategy with Tier 1 technology providers, conducting Supplier Reviews and executive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

• Assume responsibility for the supplier relationship throughout the entire contract lifecycle, tracking financial metrics, technical performance, and risk management.

• Identify, actively manage, and mitigate supplier risks through Supplier Risk Management, creating strong contingency plans.

• Formulate financial justifications, TCO analyses, and negotiation tactics in advance while collaborating with the Procurement team on commercial interactions.

• Act as the primary point of contact and senior mediator in navigating intricate conflicts and crises between suppliers and internal Technology teams.

• Create presentations and memorandums, delivering compelling executive storytelling to communicate complex scenarios to Directors, VPs, and executive leadership.

• Establish, track, and refine strategic KPIs and SLAs, aligning partner deliverables with Grupo Boticário's technology goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, with substantial experience in conducting meetings, complex alignments, and negotiations with international suppliers and executives.

• Strong background in Vendor Management or Strategic Category Management.

• Demonstrated success in strategically managing the supplier lifecycle and complex categories.

• Practical knowledge of third-party risk assessment and mitigation techniques (Supplier Risk Management).

• Excellent communication skills at a senior level, with the ability to articulate and influence senior leadership.

• Capable of managing competing priorities, mediating crises, and connecting various functional areas.

• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, structure complex situations, and operate under uncertainty.

• Preferred experience in managing technology suppliers and partners (Software, SaaS, Cloud, Consultancies, Outsourcing).

• An innovative mindset and curiosity about utilizing Artificial Intelligence (LLMs/Generative AI, data/contract analysis).

• Basic understanding of tax and fiscal structures related to IT.

• Financial acumen and management of IT budgets (CapEx/OpEx, predictability, TCO, and cost-saving/cost-avoidance strategies).

• Expertise in procurement and sourcing processes (RFx and SRM).
