Vision Power BI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development, redesign, and modernization of outdated reporting systems into innovative Power BI solutions.

• Offer technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of 4 or more Power BI developers.

• Collaborate closely with business partners, data engineers, and ETL developers to guarantee precise data sourcing from BigQuery data marts.

• Create visually appealing, accessible, and standardized reports that comply with agency reporting and accessibility standards.

• Ensure that all Power BI assets adhere to established governance, security, and documentation protocols.

• Conduct testing and validation to verify accuracy, reliability, and consistency across all reporting products.

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, confirm data elements, and support enterprise reporting objectives.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and supporting materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards within an enterprise setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in ETL and Reporting/BI tools.

• Proven capability to act as a Technical Lead for a team of 4 or more developers.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to effectively engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong comprehension of data models, best practices in data visualization, and enterprise reporting standards.
