This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical assistance to sales teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Conduct physical inspections and condition assessments.
• Manage product application tasks as required.
• Perform technical evaluations of product specifications.
• Facilitate technical training sessions and presentations.
• Develop and deliver technical briefings for both customer and company representatives.
• Create inspection reports utilizing digital reporting software.
• Assess sales proposals for technical precision and alignment with quality and performance standards.
• Travel to job sites when assigned or dispatched to projects.
• Advise customers and applicators on the correct usage and application of Hempel products.
• Articulate product features and advantages as a brand and product ambassador.
• Ensure adherence to Product Data Sheets, guiding specifications, technical and industrial standards, procedures, and best practices in painting/application.
• Collect and document data; prepare work progress reports including testing, analysis, and interpretation.
• Offer onsite training to coatings applicators and Hempel Sales teams.
• Inform customers about coating solution performance and the value of Technical Services.
• Generate and distribute corporate and customer reports using company reporting tools.
• Utilize PPE and technical equipment responsibly; ensure that equipment is calibrated, maintained, and in optimal condition.
• Monitor and manage project paint inventory, providing updates to Sales teams.
• Engage in Technical Services strategy initiatives, surveys, troubleshooting, and resolution discovery.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Customer Care, and other internal departments.
• High school diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the Coating Industry.
• Experience with marine coatings.
• Proficient in English for business communications (oral and written).
• Basic proficiency in MS Office.
• General computer skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%, both domestic and international) and work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
• NACE certification is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
