Virtual SLP, K-12 Schools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Provide captivating, high-quality speech and language instruction via Teletherapy (Telespeech)

• Establish rapport and build momentum akin to that of an in-person therapist

• Assess students' speech and language abilities and convert findings into clear, actionable objectives

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

• Record sessions and monitor progress towards IEP goals with the precision required by districts

• Collaborate with school-based personnel, including teachers, case managers, and administrators, to ensure alignment on student progress

• Adhere to the school district's calendar

• Complete the application process to receive immediate start dates based on available placements

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active clinical license from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA)

• Must maintain good standing with no disciplinary actions on any held license

• Experience using telehealth platforms for assessments and teletherapy within a school/IEP framework

• Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private/distraction-free workspace

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting with classroom teachers, case managers, and families

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
