This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients participating in a virtual Intensive Outpatient mental health program
• Evaluate clients’ therapeutic needs and formulate suitable treatment plans
• Lead group, family, individual, and specialized therapy sessions
• Conduct psychosocial evaluations, create treatment plans, maintain contact logs, develop discharge plans, and compile other necessary reports
• Ensure clinical documentation is completed in accordance with specified formats and deadlines
• Continuously assess clients’ clinical presentation and behaviors
• Identify and implement appropriate interventions tailored to individual client needs
• Foster therapeutic relationships with clients by employing praise and other reinforcers
• Establish limits and uphold therapeutic boundaries
• Perform verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation while adhering to client safety and emergency response protocols
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care from admission to discharge
• Participate in clinical, consultation, and operations meetings
• Act as a clinical advocate for assigned cases
• Relay client progress to referral sources, families, parents, and guardians as necessary
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, clinical providers, referral partners, and vendors
• Attend and complete required trainings
• Execute other duties as assigned
• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or psychology
• Must possess an LCSW, LPC/MHSP, LMFT, or PhD; PsyD with HSP, in good standing, within the state of Tennessee
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with clients diagnosed with primary mental health issues
• Tennessee clinical licensure and a willingness to acquire Iowa clinical licensure
• Openness to obtaining licensure in additional states as required
• Clearance from a criminal background check and compliance with any other mandatory state/federal requirements
• Proficiency in delivering individual, family, and group behavioral health services through virtual platforms
• Familiarity with current theory and evidence-based practices
• Capability to perform screening and assessment and develop personalized care plans
• Ability to carry out verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation in a virtual setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with peers, clients, families, and external partners
• Capacity to sit or remain stationary for extended durations
• Ability to speak and hear
• May need to lift up to 15 lbs
