This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or parents/caregivers.
• Conduct brief, targeted therapy utilizing evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Offer guidance and psychoeducation for parents.
• Lead virtual support and educational groups for parents.
• Assist parents in creating strategies for emotional regulation, behavior management, communication, coping skills, and family dynamics.
• Evaluate presenting concerns and formulate individualized treatment goals and concise intervention plans.
• Provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and family-centered care.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, primary care providers, educational institutions, and other members of the care team.
• Track client progress and modify interventions based on clinical requirements and treatment responses.
• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation.
• Uphold professional boundaries, confidentiality, and telehealth standards.
• Identify and address safety concerns, including risk assessments and crisis protocols.
• Engage in clinical consultation, supervision, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Work five 8-hour shifts during operational hours, Monday through Friday from 8am-7pm and on Friday and Saturday from 8am-5pm.
• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• California State License as a LMFT or LCSW.
• Current, unrestricted clinical license suitable for independent practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Training and proven experience in CBT or other evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
• Excellent communication, clinical assessment, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively work with families from a variety of cultural, socioeconomic, and developmental backgrounds.
• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Live Scan fingerprint clearance mandated by the Department of Healthcare Services.
• Preferred experience in providing psychotherapy and/or behavioral health services to children, adolescents, parents, or families.
• Preferred experience delivering services via telehealth/virtual platforms.
• Preferred experience in facilitating groups or parent education sessions.
• Strong family-centered and strengths-based clinical approach.
• Ability to convert clinical concepts into actionable strategies that parents can apply at home.
• Comfortable engaging with clients and families in a virtual setting.
• Experience with brief interventions and time-limited treatment frameworks.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent behavioral health.
• Experience in parent coaching, behavioral management strategies, or family therapy.
• Strong skills in group facilitation.
• Ability to work at least two evening shifts per week (10:30am-7pm) within designated business hours.
