Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer psychosocial support and education to individuals, couples, and families aged 13 and older

• Operate at the highest level of your license with assistance from the clinical care team

• Develop and expand the MinuteClinic practice

• Provide evidence-based mental health services

• Perform diagnostics, collaborate on care, create treatment plans, and offer short-term counseling

• Utilize motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques

• Ensure continuity of care through assessment and treatment planning tools

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions and connect with patients across various platforms

• Deliver crisis intervention and work in collaboration with patients and care teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Eligible candidates must hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Georgia

• Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCMHC, or LMFT

• Required to obtain licenses to practice in multiple states based on organizational needs

• Demonstrated strong diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling capabilities

• Experience in applying evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy

• Proven exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery methods

• Deep understanding of the psychosocial components of illness and health

• Proficient with technology and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on various platforms

• Solid understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements

• Proven ability in crisis intervention

• Prior experience in a mental health clinic or hospital environment

• Completed a Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university

• Must be licensed in Georgia as an LCSW, LPC, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or LMFT
