Virtual Camp Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate virtual activities for campers aged 3–12.

• Design and lead a minimum of 3 activities per session, encompassing music, art, games, and movement.

• Establish connections with campers while ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Participate in virtual staff meetings and engage in collaboration and communication with the virtual camp team.

• Provide active supervision to campers and monitor their emotional well-being throughout each session.

• Modify sessions to accommodate children of varying abilities.

• Create a vibrant and secure environment for campers.

• Maintain a suitable remote workspace.

• Ensure adherence to camp policies.

• Document and report any notable concerns, incidents, and injuries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• A minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children in a professional, personal, or volunteer capacity; 1 year preferred.

• Reliable internet connection is required.

• Must possess a device equipped with a webcam for conducting Zoom meetings.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
