Video Game Capture Artist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Capture high-quality gameplay footage and images across a variety of game modes and scenarios.

• Create visually engaging gameplay highlights that showcase key features, mechanics, and player experiences.

• Stage and execute gameplay scenarios in alignment with creative briefs and marketing needs.

• Work with debug game builds and capture hardware.

• Operate recording devices and set up recording configurations.

• Troubleshoot issues related to game builds, hardware, and software.

• Organize captured assets following naming conventions and file management practices.

• Collaborate with Producers, Creative Directors, Game Developers, Marketing, and Editorial teams.

• Participate in capture planning discussions and creative reviews.

• Communicate updates, challenges, and asset status to stakeholders.

• Distribute assets to both on-site and remote editorial teams.

• Maintain documentation of builds, capture settings, and content requests.

• Ensure all deliverables adhere to quality and technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with debug builds and camera controls.

• General proficiency with computers on both Mac and PC platforms.

• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder is advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to creative direction.

• Strong organizational skills and asset management capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines concurrently.

• Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced setting.

• A team player with a positive and productive mindset.
