This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Cultivate and oversee strategic relationships with broker dealer home offices, TAMPs, managed account platforms, RIA aggregators, enterprise RIAs, wealth technology, model distribution platforms, CIO/research/due diligence teams, and essential asset management and distribution partners.
• Formulate and implement a regional growth strategy aimed at broadening Wilshire’s intermediary distribution presence and strategic alliances throughout the West Coast.
• Propel the commercialization and expansion of model portfolios, multi-asset solutions, alternative investment model solutions, manager research and portfolio construction solutions, as well as custom and enterprise model capabilities.
• Collaborate with investment, alternatives, OCIO, retirement, wealth solutions, and research teams to provide integrated solutions for intermediary clients.
• Enhance Wilshire’s presence across significant platforms and ecosystems.
• Develop strategic business plans for key accounts with a focus on platform penetration, model adoption, advisor engagement, net flows, revenue growth, and enterprise partnership enhancement.
• Collaborate with field sales and relationship management teams to facilitate advisor engagement and execution within vital distribution relationships.
• Represent Wilshire at industry conferences, due diligence meetings, platform events, and executive-level client interactions.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in intermediary distribution, national accounts, or wealth platform distribution within asset management or wealth management sectors.
• Proven experience engaging with broker dealers, RIAs, TAMPs, managed account platforms, wealth platform gatekeepers, and home office research and due diligence teams.
• Strong comprehension of model portfolio ecosystems, managed account platforms, wealth technology infrastructure, advisor adoption dynamics, portfolio construction and investment solutions, as well as platform economics and commercialization.
• Existing relationships within the intermediary wealth ecosystem are highly preferred.
• A demonstrated history of driving platform approvals, establishing enterprise relationships, fostering asset growth, engaging advisors, and forging strategic partnerships.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive relationship management abilities.
• FINRA licenses are preferred.
• An interest in utilizing approved AI-enabled tools to optimize work processes, boost productivity, and ensure high-quality outputs while exercising sound judgment, attention to detail, and compliance with firm policies.
• Experience in distributing model portfolios and multi-asset investment solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with alternative investments and private market solutions within the wealth management sector is preferred.
• Experience working across both institutional and wealth management distribution channels is preferred.
• Ability to navigate complex enterprise organizations and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder groups.
