This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of analytics strategies that support value-based care initiatives, including risk adjustment, cost management, and quality enhancement.
• Supervise medical economics analytics in collaboration with clients and vendors, delivering insights on trends, performance metrics, and financial forecasts associated with value-based care programs.
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to incorporate analytics into operational practices, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide data-driven recommendations aimed at enhancing patient targeting and engagement while improving clinical outcomes.
• Develop and execute actuarial models for payor clients to assess the financial implications of value-based care contracts and alternative payment models.
• Assist sales and client success initiatives by articulating financial value and addressing inquiries related to actuarial, ROI/performance guarantee, and methodology aspects.
• Convey intricate analytical results to executive leadership and external partners effectively.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory shifts, and best practices in value-based care and healthcare analytics.
• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Credentialed actuary (FSA, ASA, or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in healthcare analytics and medical economics.
• Demonstrable experience in value-based care models.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare delivery systems.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Robust leadership skills with a proven history of managing and nurturing high-performing teams.
• Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities.
• Proficient in analytical tools and software, including data visualization and statistical analysis tools.
• Authorized or capable of providing the necessary documentation to work in the United States or Canada.
