This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Spearhead and manage initiatives aimed at transforming the revenue cycle to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of comprehensive end-to-end revenue cycle operations and services for clients.
• Offer strategic direction and assistance to both external and internal stakeholders on initiatives and activities focused on revenue cycle optimization.
• Create detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to assess, evaluate, and communicate the success of revenue cycle initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle practices and operations, addressing inquiries from clients and team members.
• Track analytics and report trends related to payments, denials, and procedural issues to clients.
• Formulate recommendations for corrective actions and process enhancements.
• Keep up-to-date with trends, regulations, and managed care contracts within the healthcare industry.
• Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive client and proprietary information belonging to Med-Metrix.
• Ensure adherence to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Analyze and efficiently resolve complex issues.
• Set realistic and measurable goals and priorities that align with organizational objectives.
• Engage in communication with patients, colleagues, insurance providers, hospital personnel, and clients.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team during the sales process.
• Supervise the timely disabling of remote client access for employees who have been terminated or transferred, as necessary.
• Utilize, safeguard, and disclose patients’ protected health information strictly in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Limit access to PHI to the minimum necessary to execute assigned responsibilities.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity within revenue cycle services, ideally in a hospital-based healthcare environment.
• Strong grasp of revenue cycle management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with state and federal governmental, legal, and regulatory provisions related to front-end, middle, and backend revenue cycle operations.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team.
• Proficient in revenue cycle management systems, electronic health records (EHR), and client management tools.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
• High level of integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
• Ability to follow directions, collaborate effectively with others, and handle stress situations.
• Occasional travel and the flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
