Vice President – Technology Operations

📋 Description

• Spearhead the adoption and utilization of cutting-edge AI technologies within technology operations to enhance internal efficiency and drive business results.

• Analyze trends in technology operations and advancements in AI, integrating innovative solutions to boost efficiency and productivity.

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for automation, stability, and availability in both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

• Foster innovation across security, data privacy, data operations, development operations, and infrastructure.

• Establish the technology operations strategy and roadmap focused on scalability, capacity for growth, service quality, performance, reliability, and business continuity.

• Specify requirements for new technology implementations and effectively communicate them to business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with senior business leaders to achieve measurable outcomes.

• Oversee initiatives and projects related to security, data, infrastructure, and technology operations.

• Evaluate and communicate risks associated with technology investments and purchases.

• Align the vision for technology operations with the business strategy to facilitate growth.

• Create justifications for business cases and conduct cost/benefit analyses for technology operations expenditures and initiatives.

• Design and implement the people, processes, and technologies necessary to satisfy customer demands.

• Define, track, and present executive metrics related to security, data, infrastructure health, risks, productivity, and operational efficiency.

• Establish, measure, and enhance technology standards throughout the organization.

• Conduct technical due diligence and assessments for potential acquisitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 15 years of experience in managing technology operations encompassing development operations, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AI tools and methodologies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

• Strong technical expertise in diverse on-premise, hosted, and cloud hardware and software environments.

• Experience with operational technologies for deploying, maintaining, and monitoring large-scale SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with hosting operations and cloud migrations utilizing AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.

• Excellent executive communication capabilities for articulating technical details and strategies to non-technical leadership.

• Track record of successfully leading modernization and transformation efforts within data and infrastructure settings.

• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity methodologies and practices.

• Proven success in leading large, diverse global teams.

• Effective people leadership skills with a focus on talent attraction and retention.

• Expert knowledge of networks, operating systems, databases, application servers, and web servers.

• Technical experience with systems networking, databases, infrastructure, and user support.

• Experience in defining standardized operating procedures and services across various operational disciplines.

• Background in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy formulation.

• Experience in business processes, management, and budgeting.

• Strong grasp of project management principles.

• Proven expertise in planning, organization, and development.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology solutions to address business challenges.

• Experience with acquisition due diligence and integration processes.
