Vice President, Supply Chain, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain & Procurement division at Solar Landscape.

• Formulate a long-term strategy encompassing procurement, logistics, inventory management, supplier relations, and supply planning.

• Recruit, nurture, and manage a high-performing team to support rapid national expansion.

• Implement operational KPIs to enhance accountability, predictability, and execution efficiency.

• Provide strategic advice to executive leadership regarding supply chain strategies, commercial risks, and operational scalability.

• Supervise direct material procurement and vendor procurement activities.

• Own the national logistics strategy, including inventory planning, material forecasting, and warehouse operations.

• Manage transportation, freight, and relationships with third-party logistics providers.

• Create sourcing strategies for solar modules, inverters, racking systems, electrical equipment, structural materials, and other essential equipment.

• Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers, lead negotiations, and develop diversification strategies.

• Collaborate with teams in Engineering, Project Management, PMO, Construction, Finance, and Project Development.

• Develop procurement systems, reporting frameworks, dashboards, forecasting tools, and KPI-driven analytics.

• Implement performance management and create scalable workflows across procurement and supply chain teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Construction Procurement.

• Proven track record in building and scaling procurement or supply chain organizations within high-growth settings.

• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, direct materials procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations.

• Successful history of negotiating complex commercial agreements and fostering executive-level supplier relationships.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams to support operational execution.

• Strong skills in analytical, financial, and operational decision-making.

• Demonstrated capability in team building, leadership development, and the implementation of scalable operational processes.

• Preferred experience in solar EPC, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, utilities, or other complex project-based industries.
