Forward Deployed Supply Chain Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Lyric deployment workstreams from inception to completion, overseeing every phase until go-live.

• Conduct meetings and independently manage the project plan, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed about progress and status updates.

• Collaborate with both customer and internal executives to align on priorities, mitigate risks, and guarantee timely and budget-conscious delivery.

• Lead structured User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and promote the adoption of Lyric solutions among customers.

• Provide training and support to customer teams, including engineers and seasoned operators, to facilitate the adoption of Lyric’s platform.

• Act as the main point of contact for end-users during the go-live phase and into steady-state monitoring.

• Work alongside Lyric’s technical delivery team to convert business requirements into the platform build.

• Utilize AI tools in project delivery, such as LLM-assisted modeling and configuration, agentic workflows for data preparation and validation, AI-generated documentation, and test scripts.

• Spot opportunities to integrate AI and agentic functionalities into customer planning operations, including anomaly detection, AI-assisted demand sensing, and automated scenario generation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of relevant experience, preferably as a senior consultant at a large systems integrator, focused on building, connecting, and managing technology systems.

• Confident in taking charge of a workstream hands-on: facilitating meetings independently, creating project plans, and adhering to a timeline.

• Background in supply chain consulting is preferred.

• Experience in the oil & gas industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong program and project management capabilities.

• Ability to navigate within a large, complex client organization.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly with engineers and experienced non-technical operators.

• Familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus.

• Must be located in the US or Canada, with a preference for candidates in Central or Eastern time zones.
