This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Leverage system tools and operational strategies to guarantee optimal product availability and maintain inventory balance across various locations.
β’ Evaluate field inventory levels to uncover excess stock and opportunities for enhanced utilization, repositioning, or reduction.
β’ Assess inventory data and make informed decisions about reducing aged inventory.
β’ Track exception reports and daily analytics related to aged inventory business metrics.
β’ Review and communicate time-sensitive exposure to the field to facilitate product movement before expiration.
β’ Collaborate with purchasing to synchronize inventory disposition and necessary data updates.
β’ Analyze and relay the impacts of proposed changes to the relevant teams.
β’ Work together with departments on the disposition and retirement of aged products.
β’ Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage supplier returns.
β’ Partner with suppliers and purchasing to align future inventory needs.
β’ Coordinate with category management to ensure vendor agreements are established for returns.
β’ Analyze trends and devise methods for reporting excess inventory to the field.
β’ Collaborate with analysts to uphold regional consistency.
β’ Generate statistical forecasts and identify and evaluate risks associated with inventory on hand.
β’ Propose inventory disposition recommendations to field leadership.
β’ Implement projects assigned by the field leadership team.
β’ Address missing or incomplete information, as well as inconsistencies or anomalies in complex research and data.
β’ Provide general guidance or training to junior personnel as required.
β’ Conduct branch inventory-related tasks, including product counting, expiration date reviews, and audit observations.
β’ Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant field.
β’ Generally 2β5 years of experience in a similar area OR MS/MA with 2β4 years of experience in a comparable field.
β’ Certification may be required in some areas.
β’ Analytical or statistical experience is REQUIRED.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is REQUIRED.
β’ Experience in finance analytics is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of inventory control is preferred.
β’ Ideal candidates will have experience in loss prevention analysis.
β’ Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Power BI is beneficial.
β’ Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
β’ Experience with Concur is a plus.
β’ Candidates must reside in California, Oregon, or Washington.
β’ Ability to undertake 20β25% overnight travel for branch inventory-related activities.
β’ Proper PPE is required for branch inventory-related work.
