Vice President – Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Report to the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer

• Lead the formulation and implementation of the organization’s long-term strategic plan

• Align the strategy with the mission, vision, financial objectives, and enterprise priorities

• Identify opportunities to enhance services and improve outcomes across the continuum of care

• Drive organizational growth through new service lines, market expansions, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic investments

• Oversee the development and assessment of business cases for program expansions, facilities, clinics, and treatment centers

• Keep abreast of trends in healthcare, mental health, and workplace wellness, including policy changes, funding opportunities, and competitive activities

• Build and sustain strategic relationships with employers, insurers, healthcare organizations, government agencies, community providers, and academic institutions

• Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks for strategic objectives

• Collaborate with executive leaders, clinical teams, operational stakeholders, and external partners

• Advocate for innovation across EFAP, digital mental health, and integrated care services

• Position the organization as a frontrunner in mental health care

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required

• A Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Health Administration (MHA), Public Health, Strategy, or a related discipline is considered advantageous

• Extensive senior leadership experience in strategy, business development, healthcare administration, mental health services, or a similar sector

• Proven track record in driving organizational growth, transformation, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives

• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare, mental health, and workplace wellness environments

• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, change management, and relationship-building skills

• Demonstrated ability to steer complex strategic and transformational initiatives, align cross-functional priorities, and promote sustainable growth

• Strong executive presence and influencing capabilities

• Experience in collaborating with senior leaders, clinical teams, and operational stakeholders

• Outstanding business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to identify opportunities, navigate challenges, foster collaboration, and achieve results in a complex and dynamic environment
