Vice President – Scientific Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Co-manage a significant medical affairs account in the oncology sector alongside Client Services and Creative team members.

• Serve as a strategic collaborator for the client.

• Assist in the delivery of scientific communications, digital initiatives, and medical campaigns across various products and pipeline compounds.

• Lead and guide a team of scientific writers.

• Provide counsel to clients and key opinion leaders.

• Shape and synchronize client strategies.

• Utilize business development expertise to grow the business within other client teams and service areas.

• Align strategies across a high-volume account and steer the team towards achieving success.

• Develop and manage content creation processes.

• Offer continuous editorial and strategic support and guidance.

• Coach and mentor the team while maintaining high quality standards.

• Collaborate with the BOLDSCIENCE scientific leadership team on shared experiences, cross-agency projects, agency culture, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced doctoral degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).

• Over 9 years of experience in the medical communications sector.

• Experience in oncology, particularly with hematologic malignancies.

• Outstanding scientific writing abilities with a background in supporting medical or commercial outputs.

• Demonstrated success in managing people and team operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance regulations.
