Vice President – Scientific Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Co-lead a major medical affairs account in the oncology sector alongside Client Services and Creative colleagues.

• Serve as a strategic partner to the client.

• Assist in delivering scientific communications, digital projects, and medical campaigns across various products and pipeline compounds within the client’s oncology portfolio.

• Lead and mentor a team of scientific writers.

• Provide counsel to clients and key opinion leaders.

• Shape and align client strategies.

• Utilize business development skills to broaden the business into additional client teams and service offerings.

• Align strategies across a high-volume account and guide the team towards success.

• Develop and supervise content creation.

• Offer ongoing editorial and strategic support and guidance.

• Coach and mentor the team while ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.

• Collaborate with the BOLDSCIENCE scientific leadership team to exchange experiences and ideas.

• Lead cross-agency initiatives and contribute to the agency's culture and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced, doctoral-level degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).

• Over 9 years of experience in the medical communications industry.

• Experience in oncology, preferably with hematologic malignancies.

• Outstanding scientific writing capabilities with experience in supporting medical or commercial deliverables.

• Demonstrated success in people management and team operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance.
