Vice President – Sales, TMT

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead the sales strategy, implementation, and overall success for the TMT vertical.

• Uphold industry and company best practices regarding sales execution, pipeline management, and customer engagement.

• Manage pipeline generation targets, booking objectives, and the quality of bookings to facilitate revenue growth and sustainable expansion.

• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to devise and execute lead generation strategies.

• Engage with executive-level prospects and decision-makers to broaden the customer base and secure new business with fresh accounts.

• Establish long-lasting partnerships through a consultative sales approach aligned with customer business goals.

• Collaborate with Salesforce RVPs and AEs to promote new opportunities and enhance the company's presence within the ecosystem.

• Provide oversight and direction on deal structuring, including pricing strategies, estimations, and contract negotiations.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team through strategic guidance and hands-on coaching.

• Implement sales enablement strategies and equip the team with tools, knowledge, and resources.

• Encourage collaboration between sales, delivery, and business unit leadership from opportunity identification through project delivery.

• Manage forecasting and pipeline practices to ensure business visibility and predictability.

• Ensure efficient management of sales cycles, balancing speed with thoroughness.

• Create and present Statements of Work (SOWs) that align with company methodologies.

• Facilitate collaboration with delivery teams to guarantee customer success and smooth project execution.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build credibility and demonstrate thought leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Consulting within the Salesforce ecosystem or a related SaaS consulting environment, with a specific emphasis on the TMT sector.

• Demonstrated success in growing and managing an industry-specific portfolio with more than $15M in annual bookings.

• Strong leadership background, including experience in managing and expanding quota-carrying sales teams.

• In-depth knowledge of operational and technological challenges specific to TMT businesses, such as subscription lifecycle management, recurring revenue models, content distribution, and legacy telecom transformation.

• Experience in leading complex sales cycles, including stakeholder alignment, contract negotiation, and execution.

• Ability to influence C-level executives, assisting them in strategic decision-making and solution alignment.

• Strong analytical abilities and a knack for driving data-informed sales decisions.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other relevant sales enablement tools.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to support sales cycles and client interactions.

• Must possess full-time permanent work authorization in the US.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable.
