This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Drive sales within a designated channel, team, or account to achieve revenue targets through effective business plans and sales strategies.
• Lead, direct, mentor, develop, and retain sales team members and teams.
• Oversee teammate selection, hiring processes, objective setting, performance evaluation, development planning, capacity management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Establish and manage goals for teammate and client satisfaction and retention.
• Assist in defining and executing strategic and operational plans while maintaining a sound risk control environment.
• Collaborate with operational support areas to fulfill SLA requirements and attain high customer satisfaction scores.
• Sustain and enhance service levels for clients alongside operations leaders.
• Track developments in the insurance market and identify growth opportunities at regional, territorial, and account levels.
• Organize sales promotions and new product initiatives to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Formulate strategic business plans and facilitate planning sessions for assigned teams.
• Create and implement sales strategies utilizing technology, marketing, CRM, DSR, and other relevant tools.
• Monitor sales outcomes and relay performance results.
• Encourage cross-selling across various business lines and leverage Advanced Sales to enhance average premium size.
• Identify gaps in selling skills and product knowledge.
• Develop target markets and blitz sessions, and follow up on marketing initiatives.
• Initiate and drive lead-generation and referral programs.
• Manage towards P&L and margin objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service capabilities for both internal and external clients.
• Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively in teams, and in a self-directed manner.
• Proficient PC skills within a Windows environment.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office software applications.
• Skills in problem analysis and solution development.
• Ability to communicate with individuals across all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Five years of relevant sales management experience in leadership roles, encompassing business and strategic planning, sales management, budget oversight, people leadership, and operations management.
• Proven experience leading large sales teams and/or accounts with a history of surpassing team sales targets.
• Extensive sales and leadership experience within the insurance sector.
• Significant insurance industry experience with proficiency across various product lines and a solid understanding of the industry.
• Strong project management, organizational, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to cultivate effective relationships as a leader, team member, and organizational resource.
• Strong business acumen and general understanding of service-profit chain methodologies.
• Must possess and maintain requisite FINRA registrations, such as Series 6 and 26.
• Industry designations are preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Crump is preferred.
