This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore, +2 more countries.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy across APAC markets aimed at driving revenue growth, achieving sustainable market expansion, and meeting commercial targets.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and sectors within key APAC markets.
• Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with mobile network operators, mobile wallets, fintech companies, digital banks, financial institutions, enterprise clients, partners, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead, mentor, and expand the regional sales team with clear ownership, key performance indicators, pipeline management, and accountability.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, Delivery, and Finance to create customized solutions.
• Track market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes, translating insights into commercial priorities and go-to-market strategies.
• Represent Optasia at industry events, conferences, and forums.
• Provide regular sales performance updates to executive leadership, covering achievements, pipeline status, forecasts, risks, dependencies, and improvement initiatives.
• Create commercial and operational documentation, including executive presentations, business cases, service descriptions, proposals, and responses to RFPs.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing relationships and strategic partnerships throughout APAC.
• Significant exposure to B2B2X business models.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance partnerships with mobile wallets, fintech companies, digital banks, mobile network operators, and financial services ecosystems.
• Proven experience in sales and business development leadership in the APAC region, preferably within fintech, telecom, mobile financial services, digital services, or AI-driven financial technology.
• Comprehensive understanding of APAC market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, cultural differences, and complexities in regional go-to-market strategies.
• Capability to build, lead, and grow high-performing regional sales teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution capabilities.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and executive presentation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the region as necessary.
