This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.
• Expand the business and enhance referrals for all AdaptHealth product lines within the designated territory.
• Create a strategic sales plan, identifying new opportunities and sources for referrals.
• Utilize knowledge of the local referral network and competitive environment.
• Supervise the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies.
• Organize, coordinate, and direct marketing initiatives while upholding AdaptHealth’s brand identity.
• Guide the sales team and formulate sales strategies based on economic trends, supply and demand, customer requirements, and competition.
• Cultivate strategic relationships across account-base roles, including executive-level individuals.
• Meet revenue and margin targets within the designated budget.
• Address issues and manage customer satisfaction within the account base.
• Mentor, develop, retain, recruit, and hire a high-achieving sales team.
• Track Account Executive/Territory progress towards admission, census, and budget objectives; address any performance shortfalls.
• Gather, communicate, and implement field best practices.
• Generate innovative ideas, protocols, and efficiencies to optimize marketing resources and increase market share.
• Collaborate with Operations Leadership to foster and support mutual Sales and Operations growth.
• Implement B2B and B2C sales and marketing initiatives.
• Evaluate marketing statistics and data to shape current and future products.
• Maintain a marketing research database.
• Ensure patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations and adhere to AdaptHealth's policies, procedures, protocols, and Compliance Program.
• Select and hire qualified personnel; oversee onboarding, training, feedback, performance evaluations, goal setting, productivity, and retention.
• Set annual departmental goals and objectives in alignment with the organizational strategy.
• Execute other related responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Fifteen (15) years of leadership experience in a relevant role, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Five (5) years of pertinent experience in sales, marketing, advertising, and/or brand management.
• A valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Strategic vision with the capability to execute effectively.
• Proven leadership presence and maturity.
• Exceptional judgment and sound decision-making skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, metrics-driven setting.
• Proficiency in prospecting, cold-calling, lead generation, and closing deals.
• Capability to co-manage in a multi-site environment.
• Executive-level presentation skills and proficiency in managing high-level client interactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn new technologies and comprehend data flow and system interactions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended durations.
• Capacity to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions due to extensive computer usage.
• Ability to lift between 5 to 10 pounds periodically.
• Proficient in using a personal computer and office equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exhibiting empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy.
• Ability to perform all work functions efficiently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the service area and utilize personal vehicles.
