πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provide strategic leadership and guidance for the Risk Management Strategies business.

β€’ Formulate and implement both short-term and long-term strategies that drive profitable growth, operational efficiency, client retention, and service excellence.

β€’ Stay informed about Matrix businesses, objectives, products, and services, aligning solutions with the needs of clients and brokers.

β€’ Lead teams of Property and Liability leaders.

β€’ Take charge of financial and operational performance, including P&L management, quality assurance, human resources, product development, strategic relationships, and adherence to policies and procedures.

β€’ Set performance expectations and assess operational, financial, client service, and organizational outcomes.

β€’ Utilize independent judgment on critical operational, financial, client, and strategic issues.

β€’ Enhance client programs, operational workflows, service delivery, and program efficiency.

β€’ Formulate strategic recommendations based on client objectives, program outcomes, industry trends, and emerging risks.

β€’ Lead intricate projects, strategic initiatives, and business planning sessions with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.

β€’ Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, brokers, carriers, vendors, and business partners.

β€’ Address significant client, operational, and business challenges.

β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional departments to refine processes and enhance efficiencies.

β€’ Assess vendor relationships and contracts, negotiating or suggesting modifications as needed.

β€’ Partner with carrier associates to broaden product and service offerings.

β€’ Engage in client and prospect meetings, industry events, and broker/carrier gatherings.

β€’ Prepare for and participate in presentations for the Board of Directors and senior leadership.

β€’ Monitor market trends, industry developments, competitor actions, and emerging patterns.

β€’ Develop, implement, and oversee policies, procedures, and operational standards.

β€’ Select, mentor, coach, and evaluate leaders and key team members.

β€’ Undertake additional executive-level responsibilities and strategic initiatives as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in business administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or a related field, or a comparable blend of education and relevant executive-level experience.

β€’ A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in a third-party administrator (TPA), insurance carrier, risk management organization, or a related industry.

β€’ Extensive leadership experience overseeing business operations, client relationships, financial performance, and the formulation of organizational strategy.

β€’ Proven experience in managing and nurturing leaders and professional teams.

β€’ Background in P&L management and financial accountability.

β€’ Comprehensive knowledge of automobile liability, general liability, and property programs.

β€’ Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, brokers, carriers, and other strategic business partners.

β€’ Business development and consultative sales experience.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

β€’ Willingness and ability to travel as required.

β€’ Capability to develop and execute business strategies that foster growth and profitability.

β€’ Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance.

β€’ Ability to analyze intricate financial, operational, and business information.

β€’ Skilled in leading strategic initiatives and setting priorities.

β€’ Project management and time management capabilities.

β€’ Ability to create, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, operational standards, and performance expectations.

β€’ Capacity to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

β€’ Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
