This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Generate new business and enhance strategic health plan relationships within a designated territory and account portfolio.
β’ Develop and implement growth strategies for the territory focusing on Medicare Advantage and Medicaid.
β’ Build and oversee qualified pipelines through executive connections, market insights, targeted prospecting, partnerships, and industry engagement.
β’ Formulate account-specific strategies, relationship maps, business hypotheses, solution alignment, and pursuit plans for key health plans.
β’ Facilitate consultative discussions linking payer priorities to MedeAnalytics' data, analytics, AI, workflow, and advisory capabilities.
β’ Manage intricate enterprise sales cycles from discovery and solution development to executive presentations, RFPs, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
β’ Meet or surpass annual new-logo, expansion, ARR, and revenue goals.
β’ Act as the commercial growth leader for assigned existing health plan clients and collaborate with Account Management on strategic growth and success plans.
β’ Identify and quantify whitespace, spearheading expansions, cross-sells, and upsells.
β’ Cultivate executive sponsorship across business, clinical, financial, technology, analytics, and operational functions.
β’ Maintain territory plans that encompass clients, prospects, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and revenue potential.
β’ Track payer trends, policy changes, competitive activities, and emerging client needs.
β’ Represent MedeAnalytics at industry conferences, client events, executive meetings, and payer forums.
β’ Coordinate with Account Management, Product, Marketing, Solution Consulting, Services, Partnerships, and executive leadership.
β’ Convert client needs and market intelligence into actionable insights for product strategy, partnerships, messaging, and go-to-market priorities.
β’ Lead account and territory reviews; ensure effective opportunity management, forecasting, account planning, and CRM maintenance.
β’ Function as a senior individual contributor without direct reports.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
β’ At least 10 years of proven success in enterprise sales, strategic account growth, or business development within healthcare technology, analytics, SaaS, consulting, or related solutions serving health plans.
β’ Demonstrated success in sales and account expansion across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial health plan markets.
β’ Strong knowledge of the unique economics, regulatory requirements, operating models, purchasing dynamics, and strategic priorities of government-sponsored and commercial health plans.
β’ Proven capability to originate, develop, and close complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise opportunities.
β’ Experience in developing and nurturing relationships with large national, regional, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and/or provider-sponsored health plans.
β’ In-depth understanding of payer priorities, including affordability, medical cost management, value-based care, risk adjustment, quality, population health, network performance, member engagement, and enterprise analytics.
β’ Familiarity with healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims, clinical, financial, eligibility, provider, and social risk data.
β’ Ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior executives across business, clinical, financial, operational, technology, and analytics sectors.
β’ Experience handling complex RFPs, procurement processes, contracting, and enterprise decision-making environments.
β’ Strong skills in executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management.
β’ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
β’ Highly self-motivated, demonstrating the discipline to manage a large territory and a portfolio of complex strategic accounts.
β’ Preferred: Established executive relationships within the U.S. payer market; experience in selling enterprise healthcare data platforms, analytics, AI, population health, value-based care, quality, risk, or financial performance solutions; understanding of modern healthcare data architecture, cloud platforms, interoperability, AI/ML, and enterprise analytics environments; experience assisting health plans in unifying fragmented data and analytics environments or expanding enterprise adoption of a strategic platform; demonstrated thought leadership in the payer market.
