This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Formulate and implement a detailed operations and manufacturing strategy that aligns with business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Director-level Site Leaders along with their respective leadership teams across various manufacturing sites.
• Propel operational excellence initiatives emphasizing safety, quality, service, productivity, inventory management, and cost efficiency.
• Supervise manufacturing processes, capacity planning, workforce management, and resource distribution.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to establish and meet company objectives, guiding operational strategy, investments, and systems.
• Set and uphold quality standards that comply with regulatory, customer, and industry specifications.
• Work in partnership with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams.
• Lead organization-wide continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Create long-term site strategies encompassing capacity expansion, footprint optimization, capital investments, and operational preparedness.
• Oversee operational budgets and performance indicators.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Attract, retain, nurture, and create succession plans for high-performing leaders and teams.
• Encourage cross-site collaboration, sharing of best practices, and harmonization of processes.
• Deliver data-driven insights, operational metrics, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Bioprocessing, Operations, Biochemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain leadership.
• More than 10 years of experience in people leadership, including managing leaders and multi-site operations.
• Proven success in leading multiple manufacturing facilities and geographically dispersed leadership teams.
• Prior experience in roles such as Vice President, Senior Director, General Manager, or a comparable executive operations leadership position.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing setting, ideally within life sciences, bioprocessing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
• Established track record of promoting operational excellence, organizational transformation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, organizational management, financial analysis, and business acumen.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
