Vice President of Operations

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Collaborate with the executive team to formulate both short- and long-term operational strategies.

β€’ Oversee all aspects of organizational operations with complete P&L accountability.

β€’ Guide and manage the operations team through effective communication, empowerment, recognition, and coaching.

β€’ Ensure the organization achieves operational excellence.

β€’ Identify and develop innovative services and solutions to meet client needs in collaboration with internal and external partners.

β€’ Cultivate client relationships to ensure satisfaction and account retention.

β€’ Collaborate with business leaders to facilitate change and implement new business processes.

β€’ Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluation efforts.

β€’ Negotiate or authorize contracts and agreements with clients, agencies, and other organizations.

β€’ Engage with leadership and staff to address issues, coordinate activities, and resolve challenges.

β€’ Implement corrective action plans as necessary.

β€’ Define departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions across departments and locations.

β€’ Participate in the leadership team and oversee the hiring and performance management of operations department employees.

β€’ Travel up to 50%, which may include out-of-area and overnight trips.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

β€’ 7–10 years of operational experience managing multiple units.

β€’ At least 5 years of management experience leading a team.

β€’ Strong leadership capabilities.

β€’ Strategic thinking skills.

β€’ Expertise in performance management.

β€’ Proficient communication skills.

β€’ Customer/client-focused mindset.

β€’ Project management expertise.

β€’ Collaborative abilities.

β€’ Strong business acumen.

β€’ Effective presentation skills.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 50%.

β€’ Capability to work in the MA, NY, NJ, or Philadelphia markets.

β€’ Ability to perform necessary tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, hand use, reaching, auditory, and visual capabilities.

β€’ Competence in following written and oral instructions and procedures.
