Vice President of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership for operations across Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.

• Lead and cultivate high-performing regional operations teams.

• Foster and sustain a culture focused on safety, accountability, clinical excellence, professionalism, and outstanding patient care.

• Propel profitable organic growth while facilitating the discovery and integration of new market opportunities and acquisitions.

• Build relationships with hospitals, health systems, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, payors, community partners, and other essential customers.

• Set operational standards, expectations, and accountability across the region.

• Enhance performance through data analysis, technology adoption, process improvement, and innovative operational models.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and implement the Company's strategic growth initiatives.

• Recruit, nurture, retain, and inspire leaders and frontline team members.

• Define performance metrics and ensure consistent execution across markets.

• Advocate for clinical quality, patient safety, compliance, and regulatory performance.

• Optimize fleet utilization, staffing efficiency, response performance, productivity, and overall operational effectiveness.

• Lead organizational transformation while ensuring employee engagement and customer trust.

• Identify opportunities to broaden services, penetrate new markets, forge strategic partnerships, and create new revenue streams.

• Engage in acquisition due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition operational leadership.

• Represent the Company as a senior executive and ambassador throughout the Southeast.

• Develop a robust regional leadership team, enhance operational consistency, strengthen healthcare customer relationships, promote a culture of safety and accountability, seize growth opportunities, improve financial performance, and establish a leadership pipeline within the first 12 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in ambulance/EMS, healthcare transportation, healthcare services, or a closely related healthcare field.

• Proven success in managing multi-location or multi-market operations.

• Strong financial acumen and operational management abilities.

• Experience in developing leaders and overseeing high-performing teams.

• Demonstrated capacity to lead organizational change and achieve significant performance improvements.

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and other locations as business needs arise.

• Preferred: Paramedic, EMT, or another relevant clinical background.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or a related discipline.

• Preferred: Experience in forming healthcare system partnerships and managing contractual relationships.

• Preferred: Background in acquisitions, integrations, startups, turnarounds, or high-growth organizations.

• Preferred: Experience in managing operations across multiple states.

• Preferred: Strong understanding of ambulance reimbursement, EMS operations, and healthcare economics.
