This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Develop and implement the enterprise learning and development strategy for CSD.
β’ Create a strategic vision for employee advancement, skill enhancement, career development, and leadership readiness.
β’ Supervise the design, execution, and ongoing improvement of onboarding and training programs for new hires.
β’ Design scalable, competency-focused onboarding pathways.
β’ Provide strategic governance of CSD University and employee career learning pathways.
β’ Create career advancement frameworks linked to competencies, professional growth, and internal promotions.
β’ Manage clinician learning systems, academies, continuing education, workshops, leadership development, and specialized clinical training.
β’ Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure training aligns with current best practices and evolving clinical models.
β’ Offer executive oversight for leadership development programs and academy coursework.
β’ Develop leadership pipelines and systems for succession planning.
β’ Establish competency frameworks, role-specific competency maps, and systems for readiness and performance assessment.
β’ Oversee competency validation and remediation processes.
β’ Champion the adoption of innovative learning technologies and instructional methodologies, including microlearning, AI-driven learning systems, simulation-based learning, and virtual learning environments.
β’ Ensure that learning experiences are engaging, measurable, learner-centered, and scalable.
β’ Set learning KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems.
β’ Utilize learning analytics, employee feedback, and organizational data to assess effectiveness and inform workforce development investments.
β’ Promote continuous learning and professional growth.
β’ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Operations, Clinical Services, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Research, Technology, and Executive Leadership.
β’ Act as a thought leader within the organization on workforce development, adult learning, instructional design, and leadership development.
β’ Represent CSD at conferences, industry events, educational partnerships, and other external opportunities.
β’ Stay updated on trends in behavioral healthcare, autism services, adult learning, professional education, leadership development, and workforce training.
β’ Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
β’ A Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related discipline is required; a doctoral degree is preferred.
β’ BCBA certification is preferred; equivalent experience in leadership and workforce development will be evaluated.
β’ At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in learning and development, training, organizational development, or workforce development.
β’ Proven track record of building and scaling learning programs, professional development initiatives, and leadership pipelines.
β’ Experience in managing enterprise-level onboarding, training, competency management, and professional development programs.
β’ Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning theory, organizational psychology, and change management.
β’ Experience in managing learning management systems and other training technologies.
β’ Demonstrated ability to use data and learning analytics for assessing program effectiveness and fostering continuous improvement.
β’ Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching, communication, and executive leadership abilities.
β’ Proven capability to enhance employee engagement, retention, performance, and professional growth through learning initiatives.
β’ Strong judgment, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all job functions.
β’ Competence in interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and regulations appropriately.
β’ Proficient in computer and word-processing software.
β’ Capability to obtain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice.
β’ Willingness to travel to multiple work sites as necessary.
β’ Reliable transportation is required, including a valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record per NIAC standards.
