This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the revenue-driven marketing strategy for stadium venues, focusing on ticket sales, premium seating and experiences, private events, hospitality, merchandise, and other revenue-generating business lines.
• Establish marketing standards, strategies, and performance benchmarks for marketing teams at the venue level.
• Oversee both digital and traditional marketing strategies, external communication plans, creative direction, and partner integration efforts.
• Report directly to the SVP of Venue Marketing and act as the senior marketing leader for the portfolio of venues.
• Guide and mentor venue-level marketing leaders, develop talent, and manage complex issues involving promoters, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Enhance portfolio marketing effectiveness by sharing best practices, facilitating skill development, mentoring, and conducting KPIs, benchmarks, and quarterly business reviews.
• Customize strategic marketing support based on venue type, market conditions, contract types, and event genres.
• Connect venue teams with specialists from the Home Office to create revenue-generating marketing campaigns.
• Provide templates for budget planning, guidance on spend benchmarks, and support for auditing vendor proposals and contracts.
• Assess and implement new marketing technologies and AI-driven tools.
• Develop operational and technical playbooks, onboarding materials, documentation, learning resources, webinars, office hours, and targeted training sessions.
• Manage national promoter marketing relationships and oversee tour-wide marketing strategies and activations.
• Supply ticket sales pacing data, marketing intelligence tools, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with venue management and HR to attract, evaluate, and recruit marketing talent.
• Directly manage and cultivate Directors of Marketing within the venue portfolio.
• Facilitate training led by partners and vendors, while staying updated on industry trends and marketing best practices.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field.
• Over 10 years of marketing experience.
• Prior experience in a marketing role at a stadium venue is essential.
• Experience in marketing or supporting large-scale, high-profile events and sporting tenants is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop marketing leaders across a multi-venue portfolio.
• Capability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C-level clients and senior stakeholders.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management, work ethic, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Adhere to safe work practices and comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Complete company-wide safety training as well as any additional job-specific safety training.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for departmental meetings, conferences, venue and client visits, promoter meetings, and industry events.
