This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Take charge of the overall financial performance of the Maritime business sector, encompassing revenue, profit, cash flow, and indirect expenditures.
• Formulate and implement annual goal plans that align with corporate objectives.
• Anticipate performance and manage risks and opportunities effectively.
• Enhance margins and drive operational efficiency.
• Act as the executive relationship owner for key clients.
• Foster organic growth and explore adjacent opportunities within current customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Growth on capture initiatives and strategic endeavors.
• Guarantee successful execution of all programs, including contract compliance, scheduling, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead the resolution of significant program risks and escalations.
• Build and cultivate a high-performing leadership team.
• Drive succession planning and workforce development initiatives.
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and performance enhancement.
• Participate in the executive leadership team and collaborate across various business sectors.
• Develop and sustain a multi-year strategic plan for the Maritime business sector.
• Monitor customer priorities, budget trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions.
• Advise on investments in talent, capabilities, and infrastructure.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects and US Navy Programs within a DoD environment.
• Practical experience with US Navy organizations such as NAVSEA, NUWC Division Newport, NSWC Division Carderock, and PEO IWS.
• Familiarity with advanced technology domains.
• Proven leadership experience in DoD business, including finance, profit and loss management, and business expansion.
• Demonstrated success in business development, capture efforts, proposal creation, and securing new contracts.
• Strong history of building and managing high-performing technical teams across different geographic locations.
• Ability to collaborate with executive and senior leadership, communicate effectively across all levels, and mentor emerging leaders.
• Excellent skills in client management, business partnerships, and relationship building.
• Experience in interpreting and implementing government/industry standards, laws, and corporate policies in program execution.
• TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
