This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Take ownership of the financial performance in the business area, encompassing revenue, profit, cash flow, and indirect expenditures.
• Formulate and implement annual goal plans that align with corporate objectives.
• Anticipate performance outcomes and manage associated risks and opportunities.
• Enhance margins and operational efficiency.
• Act as the executive relationship manager for key clients.
• Foster organic growth and explore adjacent opportunities within current customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Growth on capture initiatives and strategic pursuits.
• Ensure the successful implementation of all programs, overseeing contract performance, scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead the resolution of significant program-related risks and escalations.
• Build and nurture a high-performing leadership team.
• Spearhead succession planning and workforce development efforts.
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and performance levels.
• Engage in the executive leadership team and collaborate across various business sectors.
• Advocate for enterprise-first decision-making and share resources, capabilities, and best practices.
• Create and uphold a multi-year strategic plan for the Maritime business sector.
• Convert strategic objectives into actionable plans and guide their execution.
• Keep track of customer priorities, budget trends, competitive dynamics, and market conditions.
• Suggest investments in talent, capabilities, and infrastructure.
• Identify avenues to enhance customer relationships and broaden market presence.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects and US Navy Programs within a DoD setting.
• Practical experience with key US Navy entities, including NAVSEA, NUWC Division Newport, NSWC Division Carderock, and PEO IWS.
• Background in advanced technology sectors.
• Demonstrated DoD business leadership experience, encompassing business finance, profit and loss oversight, and business expansion.
• Proven success in business development, capture strategies, proposal generation, and securing new contracts.
• Strong history of building and leading high-performing technical teams across various locations.
• Ability to collaborate with executive and senior leadership, communicate across all organizational levels, and mentor emerging leaders.
• Outstanding client management, business partnership, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Experience in interpreting and applying government/industry standards, regulations, and corporate policies to program execution.
• TS/SCI security clearance required.
