
Vice President, Finance – North Central Division, Diagnostics Segment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Act as the financial leader and a vital member of the North Central Division leadership team.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial leaders to define and implement business strategies.
• Influence decisions related to pricing, cost structures, operational footprint, resource distribution, and growth investments.
• Oversee full P&L performance, focusing on revenue, margin, and cost optimization.
• Identify and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing profitability and operational efficiency.
• Provide insights on customer, product, and channel profitability.
• Direct annual planning, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy development.
• Modernize Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) through automation, scalable data solutions, and advanced analytics.
• Lead the financial assessment, valuation, synergy modeling, execution, and integration processes for acquisitions.
• Assess and prioritize capital investments while enhancing financial governance and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to policies, controls, SOX compliance, internal audits, and regulatory standards.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing finance team.
• Convert analytics and AI-enabled finance capabilities into tangible business results.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• At least 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• A minimum of 10 years in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
• Over 10 years of experience managing full P&L performance, revenue growth, operating margin enhancement, and cost optimization.
• At least 5 years of experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
• Proven experience in leveraging data, analytics, and automation to enhance financial results.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled finance tools.
• Capability to translate advanced analytics and AI functionalities into practical business impacts.
• A solid record of driving improvements in financial and operational performance.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Extensive expertise in FP&A, P&L management, and business collaboration.
• An MBA with at least 5 years of senior finance leadership experience is preferred.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• CMA certification is preferred.
