• Propel commercial success by managing a portfolio of client accounts and prospects.
• Spearhead proactive business development initiatives across designated accounts and key prospects.
• Recognize, assess, and convert opportunities for consulting, analytics, and primary market research projects.
• Formulate and implement account strategies for major clients.
• Foster account growth through cross-selling, upselling, and identifying emerging client requirements.
• Conduct consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Manage the complete sales process from opportunity identification to proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closure.
• Supervise execution by collaborating with the Consulting team.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with decision-makers and influencers in commercial, market access, medical affairs, clinical development, insights, analytics, and corporate strategy.
• Collaborate with consulting, research, and analytics teams to create unique client solutions.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Ensure precise forecasting and attainment of individual booking and revenue objectives.
• Track industry trends, competitive activities, and shifting client priorities.
• Represent MAC at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.
• Adhere to company operational procedures and client policy standards, including pharmacovigilance.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• An MBA or advanced degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, account management, or consultative sales within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, market research, analytics, or consulting.
• A proven history of consistently meeting or surpassing individual revenue goals.
• Successful track record in selling complex consulting, market research, analytics, or strategic solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.
• Experience in building relationships with senior stakeholders in commercial, marketing, medical, market access, clinical, insights, and business strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently within a prolonged sales-cycle setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the primary market research, analytics, and consulting services landscape in life sciences.
• Exceptional strategic and consultative selling abilities, with a capacity to shape and secure complex, multi-service engagements.
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Capacity to mentor and uplift sales talent without formal management authority.
• Understanding of drug development, commercialization, and marketing processes in the biopharmaceutical sector.
• Strong business acumen paired with the ability to translate market insights into commercial strategies.
