• Propel commercial expansion through a diverse portfolio of client accounts and potential prospects.
• Spearhead proactive business development initiatives within designated accounts and priority prospects.
• Identify, evaluate, and convert opportunities for consulting, analytics, and primary market research projects.
• Formulate and implement account strategies, including cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Lead consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closure.
• Oversee execution by collaborating with the Consulting team.
• Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers and influencers across commercial, market access, medical affairs, clinical development, insights, analytics, and corporate strategy.
• Collaborate with consulting, research, and analytics teams to create unique solutions and facilitate proposal acceptance.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities while ensuring accurate forecasting and meeting bookings and revenue targets.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging client needs.
• Represent MAC at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking functions.
• Market MAC's consulting, analytics, and primary market research offerings to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• An MBA or advanced degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, account management, or consultative sales within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, market research, analytics, or consulting fields.
• Proven history of consistently meeting or surpassing individual revenue objectives.
• Demonstrated success in selling intricate consulting, market research, analytics, or strategic solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.
• Experience in cultivating relationships with senior stakeholders in commercial, marketing, medical, market access, clinical, insights, and business strategy domains.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently within a lengthy sales cycle environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of the primary market research, analytics, and consulting services landscape in life sciences.
• Strong strategic and consultative selling abilities, capable of shaping and securing complex, multi-service engagements.
• Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Capability to mentor and elevate sales talent without formal management authority.
• Familiarity with drug development, commercialization, and marketing processes in the biopharmaceutical sector.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market insights into commercial strategies.
