This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the needs of veterans justice programs within courts, corrections, behavioral health, and organizations serving veterans.

• Create and implement training and technical assistance (TTA), along with curricula and coaching for veterans treatment courts, diversion initiatives, and reentry models.

• Assist partners in enhancing screening processes, case coordination, peer support, and connections to VA and community resources.

• Produce practical tools, performance metrics, and knowledge products beneficial to the field.

• Provide specialized qualifications and narrative of past performance for WIL grant and sponsored research proposals when authorized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in veterans justice, veterans treatment courts, programs for justice-involved veterans, or closely related reentry and diversion initiatives.

• Background in delivering training or technical assistance to justice, behavioral health, or veteran-serving organizations.

• Exceptional skills in facilitation, curriculum or toolkit development, and producing written materials.

• Availability for either full-time employment or project-based contract opportunities.

• Primarily remote with travel required for partner engagements and fieldwork.

• Preferred: Direct experience with VA partnerships, Veterans Justice Outreach, or peer-support models for veterans involved in the justice system.

• Preferred: Familiarity with federal justice TTA and national center frameworks.

• Preferred: Previous engagements that can be referenced (agency/partner, your role, year).
