
Vertical Sales Manager – Critical Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the national sales leader focused on vertical markets for critical infrastructure, which includes power, energy, and utilities.
• Propel the growth of IQSIGHT within the designated vertical.
• Take ownership of the vertical strategy, opportunity advancement, and solution alignment while ensuring that Territory Sales Managers maintain ownership of their territories.
• Develop and implement vertical market messaging and strategies through various channels such as associations, speaking engagements, publications, events, and trade shows.
• Identify and prioritize key target accounts and delegate them to Territory Sales Managers.
• Facilitate opportunity execution by mandating Blue Sheet updates and monitoring target progression.
• Participate in large-scale, complex, or strategically important opportunities, including meetings with end-users.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors to support Territory Sales Managers and eliminate obstacles to deal progression.
• Cultivate relationships with end users, integrators, consultants, and distributors.
• Educate and empower sales personnel on vertical-specific use cases, buyer language, and market intricacies.
• Provide both internal and external thought leadership while conveying customer needs to IQSIGHT.
• Possess expert-level technical and commercial knowledge in critical infrastructure, specifically in power, energy, and utilities.
• Have extensive industry connections within the critical infrastructure vertical.
• A high school diploma is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the security industry (IP video) working with customers, ideally at the manufacturer level.
• Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong presentation capabilities.
• Be self-motivated with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Willing to travel extensively within the US and Canada (70% or more of the time).
• Have working knowledge and experience in designing and installing IP/IT-based video and security products.
• Proven track record of collaborative work.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Industry certification is advantageous.
• Must have indefinite U.S. work authorization; future sponsorship is not available.
