This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the growth strategy for Power Stability in North America, focusing on Transmission, Distribution, Power Generation Utilities, and Independent Power Producers.
• Spearhead market development initiatives leading to the closure of multi-million-dollar contracts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with TSOs, DSOs, regulators, utilities, and strategic partners.
• Influence strategic plans, shape procurement processes, and position GE Vernova as the preferred partner.
• Drive performance in orders for Power Conversion & Storage across North America.
• Convert complex customer challenges into commercially feasible solutions.
• Provide counsel to senior stakeholders regarding the technical and commercial aspects of Power Stability.
• Lead by influence within matrixed, cross-functional, and culturally diverse teams.
• Identify and develop emerging market opportunities.
• Contribute strategic insights to product, technology, and go-to-market strategies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 9 years of experience in sales and/or business development within technology, energy, or a related sector.
• Extensive experience in senior roles in sales and/or business development in the technology, energy, or power industry.
• A proven history of successfully closing high-value, complex contracts.
• Established capability to cultivate and manage strategic relationships with utilities, grid operators, or energy developers at a senior level.
• Ability to work collaboratively across matrixed, cross-functional, and diverse team environments.
• This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration, either currently or in the future.
• In-depth knowledge of medium voltage power conversion technology, including power electronics and electrical rotating machines.
• Experience in influencing procurement processes and regulatory frameworks in collaboration with TSOs, DSOs, or similar grid infrastructure entities.
• Previous experience in emerging or nascent market development, preferably in renewable integration, grid stability, or energy storage.
• Willingness to travel based on business needs.
• Bonus eligibility: eligible for bonus.
