Vendor Quality Manager – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Proactively evaluate vendor risk across one or more GxP domains.

• Convert vendor risk assessments into actionable insights, recommendations, and strategies.

• Contribute to the enhancement of vendor quality processes, tools, and systems within GxP areas and various vendor types.

• Identify potential improvements and assist in risk-appropriate upgrades to vendor oversight frameworks.

• Track vendor metrics and dashboards to identify emerging trends within assigned GxP areas.

• Ensure effective management and mitigation of vendor-related risks.

• Aid in the development of processes and protocols for reporting, managing, and mitigating vendor risk.

• Lead and/or engage in process and system improvement initiatives as a vendor quality subject matter expert.

• Provide onsite inspection support, either in front or back room settings, as assigned.

• Offer insights on vendor risk and its potential implications in quality and business discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in one or more GxP areas.

• Proven experience with key performance indicators and quality metrics related to vendors.

• Proficiency in risk assessment regarding third parties/suppliers.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to convey complex information and foster alignment.

• Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Strong mathematical aptitude and outstanding analytical skills as applied to risk assessments.

• Proven ability to thrive in a matrixed, collaborative work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or allied health discipline (or a comparable degree).

• Generally requires 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be available to work Monday through Friday during EST hours.

• No C2C or third-party vendor arrangements allowed.
